Born in Harrisburg, PA Jonathan grew up in Maryland (Baltimore, Laurel, Catonsville). He graduated from Laurel High School, and went to Providence, Rhode Island to study Culinary Arts/Entrepreneurship at Johnson and Wales University. He has had the opportunity to work at Waterfront Kitchen, Earth Wood & Fire and Grillfire Arundel.
